Here untrue is a) The organic layer will always be on the top during the extraction. It depends on the density of the solvent.If diethyl ether,ethyl acetate etc. Used as a extracting solvent then it appears on the top during the extraction.But if DCM or DCE used as a solvent then it appears on the bottom of the extracting solution,because density of these solvents are higher than water part.
