Law is essential for every society because it set out the norms and guidelines to be followed in the society. All laws are subordinate to the Constitution. However, many amendments takes place in the law as per the necessity and requirement.

The 4th amendment - Search and seizure - The main objective of this amendment is to protect the privacy of the persons and to give them freedom and avoid unreasonable interference by the government.
The 5th amendment - Under 5th amendment, Bill of right has been introduced which will protect the person from getting caught by police unless person is indicted correctly by the police.
The 6th amendment - Sixth amendment esnures the person that their case will conduct in speedy trial mode. The accused has right to get quick trial of the case. It means accused can demand speedy disposal of case.
The 8th amendment - This amendment protect the Americans from excessive punishment. It also provides that no excessively penalty shall be imposed on the accused, no harsh or dangerous punishment shall be given. For bail also, excessive bail is not required to grant a bail to the accused.
The 14th amendment - The fourteenth amendment guarantee equal protection and due process of law to all person in America. As per this amendment no state shall not deprive from any person from life, liberty or property without due process of law.
