Could someone please help me figure out how to solve these
problems for Fundamentals of Electromagnetics? I've seen posts for
this questions that simply post the converted base vectors and
answers, but I'm confused how to convert them in the first place.
For example, in part b, I see answers that immediately convert
ay into
but I can't figure out how that was determined in the first place.
Can someone please help me with those steps in particular? Thank
you...
Note: Course: Electromagnetics-2nd, Transmission Lines. Please help me solving this problem step-by- step. Thank you for your great time and support 4. For a lossless transmission line the normalized total impedance is given by, Z(T- with「(x) =「oe-j2da Similarly, the reflection coefficient can be expressed in terms of z(x) as, 「(z) = z(2)-1 z(a) +1 where the normalized impedance can be expressed as z(x) r(x) jx(x (a) Using Matlab, plot the real and imaginary components of「(x) for-oo < x < 00,...

A2 ft rigid cylinder contains nitrogen initially at 50°F and 35 psig. More nitrogen is added to the container until conditions reach 100°F and 230 psig at which time the inlet valve is closed and the contents allowed to cool to the original temperature of 50°F. Calculate the mass of nitrogen added to the tank and the final pressure in the cylinder.
