Clinton health care plan was proposed in the year 1993 where the main features of the plans are to provide health care guard to each and every citizen in the country, subsidies were provided to people basing on their income level to provide this health coverage, federal funding will be done to states and other local authorities to provide health care services to people.

NHB will over see this policy and act as regulatory.

This plan is not enacted as there is too much of opposition on this plan from employers ,state government, drug manufacturers and hospitals. The policy document which they kept for proposal is also long 1000 pages and it is very complicated and complex in nature. There is opposition from than Congress also all this lead to failure of that policy even before enacted.
