Supply Chain - Supply chain operations are basically transportation of ram materials from the vendors/ suppliers to the organization and shipment/ dispatch of finish goods from the organization to customer warehouse locations. This requires high skill set on transportation & logistics processes for management of shipments of materials from one location to another location.  

Following are the four take away from the supply chain logistics and transportation operations are as below

  • Supply chain and logistic operation can be improved with innovations and business can achieve higher benefits and profits.
  • Supply chain, logistics and transportation operations are the key operations for an effective business.
  • Supply chain, logistics and transportation operations is the area of special expertise and skill sets.
  • Outsourcing supply chain, logistics and transportation operations is a preferred approach for any organization in order to achieve higher efficiency in the organization.
  • Supply chain, logistics and transportation operations are the critical area for a business and impacts the profit margins.

Collaborative Approaches: - These are the joint approaches among employees to work for a common goal/ objective, with the synergy of all the employees. Organizing team work is also a collaborative approach.   

Following four take away from collaborative approaches are as below

  • Collaborative approaches results in better performance for the organization with the given set of resources.
