Please I need help , I have a research paper draft on LISP language due tomorrow morning please any help with that might save me from fall in this assignment . It should be a a good draft research that covered everything in this language (pros and the cons as well)

LISP

• It is one of the oldest programming language invented by John McCarthy in 1958.
• It is the second-oldest high-level programming language.
• It is also the first functional programming language that showed the concept and construct of functional programming.
• The name LISP was taken from LISt Processor.
• Not an essential language like c, c++ or java.

History:

• It is invented by John McCarthy in 1958 while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT).
• McCarthy represents the design of this language in 1960 to the communication of the ACM.
• Lisp was first implemented on an IBM 704 computer using punched cards by Steve Russell.
• In !980s and 1990s a new language common LISP is originated.

Where Lisp is used :

• In AutoCAD(CAD, co-create, and several others).
• In Academic or educational institution(computer science courses).
• AI(Artificial intelligence) and development environment
• Clojure is a dialect of LISP that target the JVM(java virtual machine).

• While over the decades many programming languages borrowed LISP programming.
• LISP programming makes it better for other languages to easily read concepts.

• It is a powerful language.
• The best feature in LISP is that you can add modern features in LISP by yourself.

Cons:

• All over the world, there are very fewer jobs available for LISP programming.
• It is a little confusing programming language.
• It has a comparatively small ecosystem as compared to other programming languages like c, c++, java.
• Modify the Lisp code is a difficult task as it is a programmable programming language.
