Paula Kahumbu, a conservationist working in Africa, concentrates on her work related to misuse of the insecticide carbofuran and protection of African elephant, and emphasizes on connecting conservationists with the public figures and with each other. She aims to connect millions of people in the world who are willing to donate/ provide support, and the conservationists who actually go to remote and risky areas to do their job.
The balance of our earth has already been disturbed since the start of the Industrial revolution, and has been worsening by every day. While people tend to domesticate wide variety of species, little care is given towards species which are at the verge of extinction. Why? Maybe it is lack of the know-how, or simply ignorance by common folks.
This article gives us an example of how one person, strong and determined to her cause, can cause a change to the lives of so many people and animals. One person with the willpower can make a pivotal impact towards making the world a better place to live in. Common people should take the example and work on their goals, and spread awareness about the real world problem, and try to provide solutions.
