Referential integrity means that the data is stating that all the references that it is making to another data are valid for example we use primary key and foreign key to refer to the another table in the database which makes it easier for us to establish relations between the tables and easily extract data from them using their relation and using referential integrity. is the referential integrity constraint is not met there will be consequences of data being redundant or biggest consequences will be that the data will be pointing to null value for exampleif the references of the data for a column of a table are not valid then it will be pointing to the data that does not exist and will create confusion within the database and might even cause data loss.
