We will make use of lenz's law.

As the rectangular loop moves into the magnetic field, the magnetic flux crossing the loop area increase. Therefore, to oppose this effect, a current will be induced in the loop in such a way that it produces a magnetic field which is opposite in direction (i.e, into the page) to that of the external field.

From the right hand thumb rule, in order to produce a magnetic field into the page, the current should flow in the clockwise direction.
