Being an upper manager in charge of a large division, I cannot
overlook any of the two. For me, both vision and mission are
equally crucial for the company and its stakeholders. The mission
is a building block for any organization to achieve the goals.
Without a mission, no one finds the right direction. The mission
helps employees to make effective plans and frameworks to find the
targets.
On the other hand, vision is the fuel which helps to propel you
forwards. Employees can get a clear picture of what to achieve
through vision statements. Vision is the idea and mission is the
process of execution of that idea. Thus, without vision and
mission, no organization can fulfil its objectives
successfully.
