1 Gymnosperm: they are of special class in plant because they produce naked seeds but not flowers for eg pine tree. they are haploid in nature because their are two types of spore are produced microspore and megaspore. microspore refer to male it is small and megaspore refer to female its large in size as compare to male spore.
Haploid stage can start either from male or from female
they are autotrophic in nature because by photosynthesis they produce their own food they having two type of tissue xylem and phloem xylem conduts water and nutrition from the root while phloem distributes the sugars, amino acids, and organic nutrients manufactured in the leaves to the nonphotosynthetic tissues of the plant.
they are used for lumber, paper production, and resin. Some other common uses for gymnosperms are soap, varnish, nail polish, food, gum, and perfumes
