The strength of indian economy is population and resources. the large population of the country created a market which is playing a major role in its development. the strength of indian economy is population that is human resources. the quality human resources is spread around the world bringing enough foreign exchange and playing an important role in the integration of the indian economy with the world leading to transfer of technology, capital,infracture,exports and imports etc in all sectors and establishing a faster growth and overall development of the indian economy in to a domestic growth economy. keeping its major part of export of services.
Again the major weakness is the population which is leading to low distribution of land and availability of resources among people causing low incomes, unemployment,corruption,poor education,which is causing increase in inequalities rather than decrease.
when significant differences between india and usa is considered india is developing in to a open market economy while usa is already a open market economy with powerful technological advancement. India is transforming from traditional village farming to modern agriculture, handicrafts and wide range of modern industries. Industry is still not much developed and the country is short of capital goods production and infrastructural facilities.
