Prevention is a non-justice program which is used for avoiding any criminal activity. It avoids futuristic chances of a crime. Education is an important method of prevention. Involvement in community services is another method of effective prevention.

Bullying prevention program is also another major prevention program in schools for stopping incidents like gun shooting in school campus. Diversion is a program which aims at rehabilitation program. It helps in rectification of offender's behaviour.

Prevention and diversion are two approaches which can help us in understanding the true nature of our society. If an offender's behaviour can be rectified in society then it means that society is functioning in justified manner. If rehabilitation programs are going in an effective manner, then it clearly shows the efficiency of morality in society.

It also depicts the moral standards of that society. If a society is being involved in constructive work then crime rates in that society will reduced significantly. Education level in society helps in reduction of crime level. Education provides the sensitivity.

It also enables persons to understand the sensitivity of others. If we become aware about the senses of others then we start respecting them. We become focused for the cleanliness of our surrounding. We start working for programs like environmental protection.
