I need to obtain a theoretical yield of 40mg of sodium triacetoxyborohydride (MW= 211.94)
For this to happen, I am using NaBH4 (MW= 37.83), acetic acid (MW= 60.05, D= 1.049), and the solvent is benzene (Conc.= 0.2)
The equivalence for NaBH4 is 4eq. and that of acetic acid is 3.25eq.
I need help performing detailed calculations to obtain the amounts needed of NaBH4, acetic acid and benzene as well as the mmol of NaBH4 and acetic acid.
Thank you!

I need help with calculating the percent yield of an experiment. 1.0 g of p-aminobenzoic acid (MW=137.14 g/mol) was mixed with 10.0 mL of absolute ethanol (MW=46.07 g/mol) and after solid dissoved 1.0 mL of conc. sulfuric acid was added (MW=98.07 g/mol). The crude product of benzocaine (MW=165.19 g/mol) weighed 2.289 grams. What is the theoretical yield? What is the percent yield?
Experiment is reduction of 9-fluorenone using sodium borohydride to give 9-fluorenol. I need theoretical yield and percent yield calculations intial: Fluorenone mass: 0.206g Final: Fluorenol mass: 0.169g
what is my limiting reagent, theoretical yield
calculated from moles , and % yield for the synthesis of banana
oil?
Isoamyl acetate (banana oil) is made by the acid
catalyzed reaction (fischer esterification) between isoamyl alcohol
and acetic acid. sulfuric acid was used as the catalyst for the
fast conversion of product from starting alcohol and acid. the
catalyst only affects the rate of the reaction not the extent of
the reaction.
here is the data from lab:

1. What is the theoretical yield + limiting/excess reagents
for experiment? [Please show working so I can understand,
thankyou!]
Phenylboronic acid; 183mg (1.5mmol)
Toulene; 2mls (0.5M of benzyl amine dissolved in toulene
solution)
Cu(OAc)2; 0.2mmol
2,6-lutidine; 1mmol
Myristic acid (ligand B); 91mg (0.4mmol)
I really need to know how to go about the two questions, please
show detail in your working out. Thankyou so much in advance.
