Solution:

We live in a world that is hyperactive on social media and is connected to the entire globe. This was not the case with our previous generations who did not have much exposure to technology and hence global connectivity. In today's world, digital media is mostly consumed by younger generations whereas the older generations tend to use it lower. The older generations do not have a strong bond with social media as compared to the generations of today.

People who are new to this technology find it overwhelming to see how things are changing and how technology can bring about changs to our lives for better. Gone are the days where people preferred magazines to read about their favorite genre, now people just subscribe to email and they can get all the content directly on their mobile, laptop, tablet, etc. Hence, the use of older ways of entertainment is also fading and it only digital media that is taking over.

We cannot imagine our lives today without social media, this is the importance the young generations have on social media and it demonstrates the amount of time they spend on such social media websites to be connected with their peers. The case was not the same with older generations who often met directly rather than on skype for their gettogether.

Hence, this is how the digital wave has changed the way we live and also the extent of gap between the new and the old generations.
