A) The gait pattern is called a trot.

B) Approximately the duty factor would be 0.5. If the duty factor is equal to or above 0.5, then it is considered as running.

C) Yes, this type of gait is found in a salamander as well. When a salamander is trotting, the trunk and tail slide on the ground. In general, when a salamander is trotting it adopts an "S-shape". When a salamander is walking one limb at a time is in swing phase whereas when a salamander is trotting diagonal limbs are simultaneously in swing phase.
