The question is solved on the basis of recombination frequency. Two genes are linked only when there is found recombiantion frequency of less than 50%. And if there is found recombination frequency of more than 50% , then this two genes are not linked.
And it is also given that asterik denotes that there is significant difference occurs fom 50% is found.
