Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (street) originally titled The Brothel of Avignon  is a large oil painting created in 1907 by the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. The work, part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, portrays five nude female prostitutes in a brothel on Avignon Street in Barcelona. Each figure is depicted in a disconcerting confrontational manner and none is conventionally feminine.

How She Bowed(Angelus) is an oil painting by French painter Jean-Francois Millet, completed between 1857 and 1859. The painting depicts two peasants bowing in a field over a basket of potatoes to say a prayer, the Angelus, that together with the ringing of the bell from the church on the horizon marks the end of a day's work.

The Rite of Spring is a ballet and orchestral concert work by Russian composer Igor Stravinsky It was written for the 1913 Paris season of Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes company; the original choreography was by Vaslav Nijinsky with stage designs and costumes by Nicholas Roerich.
