Answer: Nursing practice requires major skills and they can enhance their practices with the help of evidence based practice. But there are various barriers which prohibits nurses from engaging in evidence based practices. One of the reason is the uncertainty as well as the lack of knowledge about the evidence based practice implementation process.

Nursing profession is not only concerned with the jobs and salary but it is also a profession which helps to takecare of the people and patients.

Nursing profession involves:

• Critical thinking
• Emotional values
• Evidence based practice

Nursing profession is a life long learning profession and the evidence based practice act as a platform and provide us to enhance our nursing practice. It also provides the critical thinking skills and experience. It enables us to know what we have to do in the difficult circumstances of the patient's treatment.
