Answer #1

I feel the important hindrance is the lack of resources. The nurses works in lack of resources. But they used to improvise their available resources to the best make things possible. But sometimes, they face severe scarcity of resources, which prohibits them to involved in EBP.

Evidence based practice is a problem solving approach in clinical settings, which improve the quality of care to the patients. It is important to conduct research in nursing, should be updated according to the existing clinical scenarios. For this to happen, enough resources to be available for the system to function properly.

The strategy is to facilitate the use of evidence to improve nursing care for patients is to follow a check list of events. This is to ensure that everything should be done at proper time and properly. This is an evidence based practice. While following a checklist, there is scarse possibility to miss out the things which are needed to the patient. This will enhance the quality of patient care and it will infuse confidence in patients on health care team and their duties.
