Barriers in engaging evidence based practice by nurses are lack of time, lack of resources, poor organizational support, poor interest, less trustworthiness regarding research results, lack of experience in evidence based practice.

Among the above i considered one of the major thing is lack of experience in evidence based practice. Even though some of the knowledge nurses have regarding some procedure of evidenced based steps, lack of skills hinder the evidence based practice.

To solve this problem and improve skills in evidence based practice, the hospital or health care organization should take an effort. They should make available of review of literature and also conduct periodic skill training. Make the nurses to participate in skill training and should follow evidence based practice is as compulsory. Encourage the nurses to participate in evidence based practice and give them positive reinforcement such as promotion, salary increment for his/ her evidence based practice. Conduct periodic monitoring of nurses movement and practice, if lack in anything provide skill training.
