  • The four states of matter are :
  1. Solid
  2. Liquid
  3. Gas
  4. Plasma
  • Carbon dioxide contains one atom of carbon and two atoms of oxygen bonded together by a covalent bond. So we can say that carbondioxide is a compound.
  • Ionic Bond - Ionic Bond is a type of bond formed from the electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions in a chemical compound. Ionic bond forms by transfer of valence electrons.
  • Covalent Bond - Covalent Bond is a chemical bond that is formed by the sharing of electron pairs between atoms.
