No, As long as we know the mass of A and B as well as the molecular weight of A and B. We can find out the moles of A and B, irrespective of the state they are in.

Furthermore, if we know the stiochiometirc relationship between moles of A and moles of B we can simply convert from moles of A to moles of B irrespective of the state they are in. Moles of a substance do not change when going from one state to another.
