Answer #1

f (in m)= 1/P

f = 47 cm
s = 25

s' = ?

1/(25-2.2) + 1/s1' = 1/47

s' = -44 cm

D = ls'l + 2 = 44+2.2 = 46.2 cm   <-------answer

b)

1/s + 1/s' = 1/f

1/(38-2.2) + 1/s' = 1/47

s' = 150 cm

D = s'+2.2 = 152.2 cm

s = 25 - 2.2 = 22.8

s' = -(152.2 - 2.2 )= -150 cm <-----answer

c)

1/s + 1/s' = 1/f

(1/22.8) - (1/150) = 1/f

f = 26.9 cm

P = 1/f(in m )

P = 1/0.269 = 3.71 D <----answer
