Ebola virus is transmitted through direct physical contact with person blood or body fluid like semen, tears , saliva etc. Ebola is also transmitted through indirect contact by exposure to contaminated surface. It is not an airborne disease, not foodborne, no spread by droplets , but it is a zoonotic disease that spread through animal to human , main reservior is monkey.

Ebola virus is filoviridae, enveloped, single stranded, non segmented negative sense RNA virus. Ebola is virus but here all the characterstics belongs to bacteria so not applicable.
