If I have been hired by a Fortune 500 aerospace company for designing communication pods, I would expect "Electronics and Communication engineer" as the lead engineer for the project. The communication pod consists of antenna, transmitter, receiver, controller, housing, coolant pump, power supply and vibration dampening equipment. So, an engineer graduated with Electronics and communication engineering as the major will have good knowledge on antenna, transmitter, receiver, controller, power supply, coolant pump and vibration dampening equipment. Of course he/she should have some related experience to be at lead engineer position, so that it is easy to guide the people under him/her.
