Write the solubility equilibria for silver chloride as follows:

AgCl(s) --> Ag+(aq) + Cl​​​​​-(aq)

As AgCl is converting to one ion each of silver and chloride. Therefore, the solubility of silver and chloride ion is same as the solubility of AgCl. Solubility = [Ag+] = [Cl-]

Write the expression for Ksp for the above reaction .

Ksp = [Ag+][Cl​​​​​-]

Ksp = (0.000013)(0.000013) = 1.69 × 10-10
