in the circuit below, all four resistors are identical (R1 = R2 = R3 = R4 = R) and the battery has a voltage of 5.19 V.

A circuit begins at a battery labeled V. A wire leaving the positive terminal passes through a resistor labeled R_1, then splits into two wires. The left branch ends at a circle labeled 1. The right branch passes through a resistor labeled R_2, then splits again, one branch ends in a circle labeled S close to circle 1. The other branch passes through a resistor labeled R_4 and then continues to a final split, where one split passes through a resistor labeled R_3 and then ends at a circle labeled 2 that is close to the circles labeled 1 and S. The other branch ends at the negative terminal of the battery.

(a) When the switch is placed in position 1, the measured current in the battery is 1.41 mA. What is the value of each resistor?
 kΩ

(b) When the switch is placed in position 2, what is the current flowing out of the battery?
 mA

(c) When the switch is open (neither in position 1 or position 2), what is the current flowing out of the battery?
