A chemist has two solutions and 12 grams of NaCl (table salt). One solution consists of a toxic compound dissolved in methanol. Methanol is a liquid with a density of 760 kg/m 3 . The concentration of the toxic compound in the methanol is 44.78 mg/L. The other solution is water which does not contain any of the toxic compound. The chemist combines 945 mL of the methanol solution with 10L of the water and then throws in the salt and mixes it all up well. In the combined solution (mixture):
