Answer #1

3rd choice is correct answer

solution is solvent + solute.

every solution consists of one solvent and one or more solutes.

in generally solvent contains greater amount comparing with solute in a solution.

for example in sugar solution.

sugar solution means, sugar (solute) dissolved in water(solvent), then sugar solution is prepared.

if we taken 2 solutes that are sugar and salt. these 2 are dissolved in water, so Sugar + salt + water = solution.

in this solution water i.e. solvent quantity is more.

therefore a solution contains one solvent and one or more solutes that are present in lesser amounts than the solvent.
