Answer: Cyclohexane has no pi bond (i.e. no unsaturation) and therefore it is not nucleophilic. So, It does not react with bromine/CCl4 unless energy in the form of sunlight (hv) or heat is applied. If that happens then free-radical substitution reaction occurs.
