Lets suppose in x hours pool fills completely

in 5 hours tank part is filled

in 1 hours tank part is filled =1/5 of tank

in x hours tank part is filled x/5 of tank

= 1 in 8 hours tank part is drained

in 1 hours tank part is drained = 1/8

in x hours tank part is drained =x/8

total remaining water=

32 8.x 5x 8 40 40 40

which is 1 because tank is full

3r 1 40 40 hours= 13 hours 20minutes 3

=-16t2 220t t(-16t 220)

when t=0 s=0(ground)

when -16t+220=0 s=0

-16t+220=0 gives

t=220/16=55/4 seconds

so projectile was in air for 55/4=13.75 s
