Advantages of using Apache Servers:

1. The source code of apache is available for free to anyone and no license is required.
2. It can be modified to adjust the code and also to fix the errors.
3. It can be installed easily
4. The ability to add more features and modules makes it a favorite among the techies.
5. It is highly reliable and performs better.
6. The changes made are recorded immediately, even without restarting the server.
7. It can run on any operating Sysytem like Windows,Linux etc.
8. It is regularly maintained and updated.
9. It is effortless task to get help for Apache servers, as its technical support team is readily available on sevaral websites all over the world.
10. The document of apache is quite usefull and very extensive.
11. Multiple websites can be run from the same server, In other words it can create veirtual hosts on the same server.

Disadvantages:

1. One of the prominent feature of Apache is its abiliy to modify its configuration. This , however can cause a serious threat to the security, if not dealt properly
2. While creating personalized protocol means new bugs will also be created. Thus need for debuggers arise.
3. Requires a strict updating policy that needs to be done regularly without fail.
4. Recognising and disabling unwanted services and modules. Leaving them on cloud causes serious threats.
5. It is a process based server

According to my research i would recommend to use apache servers.

Beacause,

Inspite of thease disadvantages apache is still considered as a one of the best in the world.

Apache web servers are acted as the main driving force behind the web expansions the we see today.

Apache has become the standard for developing other web server platforms.

It is dynamic in nature and compiles fully with the current HTTPS standards.
