a] here focal length f = R/2 = 24/2 = 12 cm

Using mirror formula 1/v + 1/u = 1/f

1/v + 1/-5.4 = 1/12

1/v = 1/12+1/5.4 = 0.2685

v = 1/0.2685 = + 3.724 cm answer

b] height h = image height*-v/u = 2.9*3.724/5.4 = + 2 cm answer

c] image is on the other side of the mirror .
