The aim of human relations to study the behavioral aspects of employee-employer inter-relationship in order to improve the relationship between the two.
Human resources, on the other hand, encompasses overseeing the employees- in terms of their compensation, policies, development etc.
Human relations view it as necessary to please the employee and give them attention in order to increase productivity
Human resources on the other hand view employees as assets necessary for running and functioning of the organization.
The similarity between both views is that they are focussed upon fulfilling the needs to employees.
I will prefer working for an organization that works on the human resources model where managers would view me as an asset and realize my full talent and potential which otherwise would be wasted.
