step(1) Calculation for theoritical yield

mass of CaF​​​​2= 6.15kg

we know that ,

Mola mass of CaF​​​​2= 78.07 g/mol

Molar mass of HF = 20.1g/mol

From the stoichiometric of chemical reaction

1mol ​​​of CaF​​​​2 produced 2mol of HF

Or

78.07 g CaF​​​​2 (i.e mass of 1mol CaF​​​​2 ) produced 2(20.1)g HF (i.e mass of 2 mol HF)

78.07 g CaF​​​​2 produced 40.2 g HF

Or

70.07kg CaF​​​​2 produced 40.2kg HF

So,

1.0kg CaF​​​​2 produced (40.2/70.07) kg of HF

So,

6.15 kg of CaF​​​​2 produced (40.2/70.07)6.15kg of HF

theoritical yield of HF = (40.2/70.07)6.15kg

Theoritical yield of HF = 3.53kg

Hence,

Percent yield =[ (2.5kg)/(3.53kg)]×100

PERCENT YIELD = 70.85%
