Answer #1

1) I am closest to my father. I feel closest to him because I am independent with and around him. I receive an enormous amount of support from him which gives me the ability to shape my life. He is my superhero. He inspires me to reach my goal.

2) The good factor and why I respect him the most is because of three primary reasons: His engagement, accessibility and responsibility towards me. I can completely and blindly trust him and I am assured that he will never let me down. I feel my self-esteem is high because of his constant involvement. My father and I always talk about our sadness in life with each other.

3) I know the fact that my father and I value each other. He always tries to help me no matter how hard the situation is. He never ignores me and lets me get on with my life alone; he is always there when I fall. He is my best friend; I can share my hidden secrets with him with comfortability. He is a good listener, I know that he understands what I need and when I need it. In return I show that I value him by apologising whenever I am wrong and I have done something bad to hurt him.

4) I do not have any special obligation to my father in virtue of our relationship However, I can lie for him and I can go to great length to be with him. My father taught me that I am worthy of a respectful partner and I would want a partner like my father in future. For me a minimal quality second spent with him is more valuable than an adventure trip. He maintains a level of discipline with me and upholds a firm boundary to safeguard me; I can also do the respect it and not defy it.
