The Codes of Practice fixt out industry standards of conduct. The guidelines for fair dealing between you customers, and let customers know which business agrees to do when dealing with them. Codes of Practice relates to a single business and represent the whole industry. Following are the List of 10 forms of legislation, regulation or codes which applied in Australian professional accounting environment/context:-

Title Description
Archives Act 1983 This Act empowerd the National Archives of Australia to look into recordkeeping practices in the Australian Government and to set recordkeeping requirements.
Archives Regulations This Regulations specify Australian Government agencies to provide the Archives with defined documentation or advice supporting agencies’ dealings with their records for example information for appraisal, notification or confirmation of destruction or other disposal, and notice of consent to destruction or other disposal.
Privacy Act 1988 The Act regulates the personal information about individuals. It includes its collection, use, storage and disclosure etc.
Privacy Regulations 2013

This Act, agencies alsorequired to take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information as it is no longer needed, unless an exception applies.

Legally binding privacy guidelines and rules It has a number of rules and guidelines which cover the protection, use and disclosure of information relating to tax file numbers, credit research and medical research etc.
Freedom Information Act 1982 It is able to an individual to request access the documents about themselves or other documents, such as documents concerning policy development and government decision-making and to seek amendment personal records. It applies the Australian Government ministers and other important agencies.
Freedom of information (charges) Regulations 1982 This Regulations fix the charges applicable for searching for and retrieving for fficial documents.
Crimes Act 1914 It contains rules relating to the protection of official information and sets out penalties for unauthorised offence.
Public Service Regulations 1999 It refers to the Code of Conduct and the APS employee’s duty to disclose information.
Evidence Act 1995 It provides for documents created and maintained in paper and electronic form for presentaing as evidence before federal courts:
Electronics Transations Act 1999 This Actprovides to use of electronic transactions and enables business and the community to use electronic communicationswith their dealings with government.
