Water can travel from roots to leaf via xylem because of certain special property known as capillary action.

Capillary action is created due to high surface tension ; and cohesion & adhesion interactions among water molecule.

Ans2- Pressure will increase in the soda can , and it will eventually explode .

Ans3-

Acid rain is the rain whose pH is less than 5.6.

It is formed due to reaction of water molecules of rain with oxides of nitrogen ans sulphur.

Environmental consequences- damage to monuments, threat to aquatic organisms, and release of toxics in soil.
