Solution :-   R-CHO is the aldehyde group and RC(O)R is the ketonic group.

a= aldopentose - because only 5 carbons inthe chain and it has aldehyde functional group.

b= aldohexose - because 6 carbons in the chain and aldehyde group

c= ketohexose - because it contains 6 carbons in the chain and ketonic functionall groups is present in it .
