Balanced chemical equation;

2C8H18(g) + 25O2(g) >>>>> 16CO2(g) + 18H2O(g)

Part C ; amount of product to be formed depends upon the amount of limiting reagent available.

As 0.710mol of oxygen is the limiting reagent and this will produce water as;

(18mol-water/25mol-O2)×0.710mol-O2 = 0.511mol of water will produce.

Part D ; moles of octane will get used by 0.710mol of oxygen   ;  

(2mol-octane/25mol-O2)× 0.710mol-O2 = 0.0568mol of octane .

Moles of octane will left after reaction = initial moles of octane - used by oxygen during reaction = 0.320mol - 0.0568mol = 0.263mol of octane will left .
