Answer #1

Sol: Impedence Z = V/I =12/1 = 12 ohm

L=\frac{\mu _{0N^{2}A}}{2\pi r}]=3.18\times 10^{-11}N^{2}

And X_{L}=2\pi fL =2\pi \times 1\times 10^{3}\times 3.18\times 10^{-11}N^{2}=2\times 10^{-7}N^{2}

Now

Z=\sqrt{R^{2}+X_{L}^{2}}

or

Z^{2}=R^{2}+X_{L}^{2}

or

X_{L}^{2}=Z^{2}-R^{2}=12^{2}-5^{2}=119

or

X_{L}=10.91

But

X_{L}=2\times 10^{-7}N^{2}

Hence

N^{2}=10.91/(2\times 10^{-7})=5.455\times 10^{7}

or

N=\sqrt{5.455\times 10^{7}}=7386turn

Hence third option has closest value.
