Entropy of the system decreases when process gets reversed. That is a for a system to get it’s entropy decrease should be a reversible process. But that’s not it. The entropy of the system decreases as a result of increase of entropy of the surrounding. That is the overall entropy of the universe remains the same in case of reversible process. But as reversible processes are not practically possible and only irreversible processes occur in the nature. Entropy of the universe never decreases. It
