Answer #1

(a)

Sample size: n =20

The 20th percentile will be

20 100 P20 (20 + 1) = 42th data value

Since 4th data value is 0.27 and 5th data value is 0.29 so required percentile is

P20 = 0.27 + (0.29-0.27) . 0.2 0.274

Answer: 0.274

(b)

Mode is data value with highest frequency. So mode is 0.48.

(c)

There are 20 data values so median will be average of 10th and 11th data values. That is median is

0.36 0.38 Median 0.37
