which factors in table 5.4 ( above) we're important in explaining improvement in black neonate mortality rate? white neonate mortality rates? speculate on why some of these factors may have been more important for blacks.

WIC, Abortion and prenatal care constitute the highest proposition of total explained reduction in mortality rates for both blacks and Whites.

However comparatively we observe the abortion rate and prenatal care is more for Blacks than Whites which might be attributed towards neonatal intensive care and prenatal care because Blacks are more prone to illness cojsidering their migration from different countries which cause higher genetic probability of mortality as compared to Whites who are more immune.
