Let’s look at them one by one
2 Corinthians 5:7
It says that we live by faith and not by sight. This can be related to forecasting in business. Many of our strategies and decisions are based on what we believe will happen. This is why we forecast ahead and prepare our plans accordingly. This is what is meant by the scripture and it urges us to be forward thinking.
Ephesians 4:29
Speaks about controlling the words that we speak. It can be related to the products we manufacture or services we provide. It urges us to create value by eliminating waste. In other words the focus is on quality so that the final product can be valuable.
Exodus 14: 13-15
The key here is that God asked Moses to move on when they were worried about what Egyptians would do to them. This is relatable to forward focus and thus forecasting. It is also related to quality that we should not associate our effort with unnecessary products. Overall this relates to both forecasting and quality.
Matthew 25: 14-30
This is a parable about the three servants. The story emphasizes on the effort that is put into resources. This means that when we want to achieve a certain level of forecasted value, we need to put in desired effort. This effort can be in decision making, thoughts, and other areas. We also need to consider the quality of our efforts. The first two servants worked hard with their share of gold coins and multiplied them. This was done through their quality effort to achieve their goals. On the other hand, if we do nothing about our resources and handle it with poor quality, then it will not grow (as seen with the third servant).
