4. The energy is used to form a bond between ADP and iP.

The whole process of cellular respiration takes place is to generate energy that can be used for various cellular functions. The energy that is generated is used to form ATP i.e. a bond is formed between ADP and iP to form ATP and ATP is mostly used throughout the living body is an energy currency.
