1. Explain the method of gene rearrangement that is utilized in eukaryotic organisms to help prepare them to produce specific antibodies for a broad variety of natural and man-made components they have never encountered before. Answer #1

answer) one unique property of antibody is thier diversity. there are several mems for gene rearrangment and inducing diversity in the antibody.

1) VDJ Recombination: random association of of any v gene sehment witha ny j segment can occur to form an L chain variable region. and similay v can join with D or J segment in the H cahin rearrangemnt.

2) somatic hypermuatations:the variable region of germ-line DNA susceptible to a high rate of somatic mutation during b cell development.

3)class switching: all B-lymphocytes starts productive lyf as immature cell engaged in the synthesis of IgM.THAN this IgM switcch to ther different class of antibody by switch recombination. switching involves sequences lies on the upstream of heavy chain constant region known as switch region.

4)junnctional and inserstinal diversification:diversity generated by eans of combinational joiningis further agumented by phnomenon called junctional divversification. the random loss or gain of nucleotides at joining sites is called junctional diversifiaction.
