x-intercept occurs at y = 0 :

So,

0 = - 5x + 3

=> x = 3/5 

So, x-intercept is (3/5, 0) 

y-intercept occurs at x = 0.

=> y = - 5(0) + 3 

=> y = 3

So, y-intercept is (0, 3)
