The equation 1 can be written as

-12x{_{1}} +16x{_{_{2}}} =8

-2(6x{_{1}} -8x{_{_{2}}})= -2*-4

So the equation 1 becomes 6x{_{1}} -8x{_{_{2}}} =-4 which is same as the second equation

So we have one equation and 2 unknowns so it has infinite number of solutions so let x{_{_{2}}} =t then x{_{_{1}}} = (-4+8*t)/6 so option b is correct
